At Backlash 2020, SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley and Sasha Banks put their WWE Women's Tag Team Championships on the line. Their challengers were no strangers to holding the Women's Tag Team titles with Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross, and the Ilconics determined to end The Golden Role Models' run with the straps.

The match was decent, and all six women tried their best to carve out a successful match. Their titles were in jeopardy after Bliss nailed Peyton Royce with Twisted Bliss. However, Sasha intervened and she pinned Bliss to keep a stranglehold of the championships.

10 Bayley & Sasha Banks Vs. Nia Jax & Tamina - Fastlane 2019 (Rating: 4.83)

The Boss 'n' Hug Connection made history at Elimination Chamber 2019 by becoming the inaugural WWE Women's Tag Team Champions. Their first title defense came at Fastlane against Nia Jax and Tamina.

Bayley and Banks worked as a cohesive unit and quickened up the pace to their advantage to avoid Jax and Tamina's power moves. It wasn't the greatest of tag team championship bouts but Bayley countered the Irresistible Force's powerbomb into a hurricanrana to run out as winners.

9 Team SmackDown Vs. Team Raw - Survivor Series 2020 (Rating: 4.72)

Bayley was still recovering from her loss as SmackDown Women's Champion but she assumed the role of team captain for Team SmackDown at Survivor Series 2020. The Role Model teamed up with Bianca Belair, Natalya, and The Riott Squad's Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan. On the opposing side was Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler, Peyton Royce, Lacey Evans, and Lana who represented Raw.

Team SmackDown had good chemistry together compared to Raw who did not want Lana involved. Bayley hit Royce with her top rope elbow drop but Evans broke up the fall. However, Royce suplexed Bayley onto the rest of the field onto the outside. Royce nailed Bayley with Deja vu and Bayley was first to be eliminated which was a shock.

8 Bayley & Sasha Banks Vs. The Ilconics Vs. Beth Phoenix & Natalya Vs. Nia Jax & Tamina - WrestleMania 35 (Rating: 4.20)

The Boss 'n' Hug Connection had a tough assignment at WrestleMania 35 as their WWE Women's Tag Team Championships were being defended on the Grandest Stage of them All for the first time. The Ilconics, Beth Phoenix and Natalya, and Nia Jax and Tamina were their challengers.

This was a fast-paced championship match, and there were some fun exchanges. Natalya put the champions in a spot of both as she executed a double sharpshooter. Bayley and Sasha regrouped as Bayley executed her trademark elbow drop on Beth and Sasha followed it in with a frog splash. Ultimately, Bayley took Phoenix's Glam Slam from the top rope, but the Ilconics stole the unpopular victory.

7 Bayley Vs. Becky Lynch Vs. Shayna Baszler - Survivor Series 2019 (Rating: 4.12)

History was made at Survivor Series 2019 as SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley, Raw Women's Champion Becky Lynch, and NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler became the first three women to main event Survivor Series. The Queen of Spades was the aggressor throughout the entire match.

Bayley and Lynch removed Baszler momentarily, and they battled amongst each other. Bayley executed her patented Bayley-to-Belly on Baszler but the NXT Women's Champion kicked out. The match just plodded on and Bayley failed to hit the diving elbow drop with Baszler cinching in the Kirifuda Clutch on Bayley to pick up the huge win.

6 Bayley Vs. Naomi - Super ShowDown 2020 (Rating: 4.12)

Bayley continued to make history at Super ShowDown as she and Naomi had the honor of becoming the first two women to compete in a women's championship match in Saudi Arabia. Both were covered up as women in Saudi were covered up. Sadly, their SmackDown Women's Championship match failed to click which was disappointing for their standards.

The pair of two-time SmackDown Women's Champions did go back and forth with the pendulum swinging. Bayley failed to keep Naomi down with the Bayley-to-Bayley but the Rose Plant was enough to retain the SmackDown Women's Championship.

5 Bayley & Natalya Vs. Charlotte Flair & Sareena Sandhu - Superstar Spectacle 1/26/21 (Rating: 3.81)

On January 26, 2021, WWE showcased Indian talent for India's Republic Day at WWE Superstar Spectacle. Former SmackDown Women's Champions Bayley and Natalya teamed up to collide with Charlotte Flair and India's Sareena Sandhu.

Flair planted a few of her trademark chops on Bayley, and Sandhu executed a double crossbody onto both Bayley and Natalya. Nonetheless, the veterans took advantage of Sandhu who was inexperienced. However, Natalya cinched in the sharpshooter on Sandhu but Flair saved the day with Natural Selection on Nattie. Sandhu picked up the win in a poor tag team match.

4 Bayley Vs. Lacey Evans - Royal Rumble 2020 (Rating: 3.76)

At Royal Rumble 2020, Bayley put the SmackDown Women's Championship on the line against Lacey Evans. The Role Model feigned a knee injury to halt Evans' momentum. Moreover, Bayley nailed Evans with her trademark diving elbow drop early on but Evans kicked out.

The titular bout was underwhelming considering that Evans was on not Bayley's level. Evans botched a couple of spots which didn't help matters either. However, Evans executed her patented twisted Moonsault but Bayley put her knees up and retained the SmackDown Women's Championship.

3 Bayley Vs. Tamina - Money In The Bank 2020 (Rating: 3.61)

Without a crowd at Money in the Bank 2020 in the Performance Center, Bayley and Tamina's SmackDown Women's Championship match suffered. The Role Model mocked Tamina for not winning a championship before the match even began. Tamina took exception to that and she attacked Bayley.

Bayley stopped Tamina in her tracks by ramming her leg into the ring post. Their clash was very slow and methodical. It would have been a tough watch for viewers at home. Nonetheless, Tamina was going for the Samoan Drop but Bayley continued her momentum as SmackDown Women's Champion with a crucifix pin.

2 Bayley Vs. Natalya - SmackDown 12/4/20 (Rating: 2.80)

On the December 4, 2020, edition of SmackDown, Bayley, and Natalya faced off in the battle of former SmackDown Women's Champions. Bayley dominated the early exchanges but she took her eye off the ball with Bianca Belair residing at the commentary table.

This was a subpar match which was a shame considering how talented both of these veterans are. Ultimately, Natalya picked up an upset win of some sort as she forced Bayley to submit to the Sharpshooter.

Bayley didn't expect to find herself competing on the February 19, 2021 episode of SmackDown as she was hosting her Ding Dong Hello show. In her jumper, trousers, and socks, Bayley teamed up with reigning WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. Her bitter rival Sasha Banks, Bianca Belair, and Reginald were their adversaries.

There are no surprises that this was one of the worst matches in Bayley's career. The longest-reigning SmackDown Women's Champion did feature briefly but she wasn't involved in the decision when Reginald humiliated Jax by pinning her for the win.
