Alexa Bliss stopped and talked to Adam Glyn of Adam’s Apple while outside an airport and was asked a series of questions. The first was when fans could expect to see her back and Bliss was quick to respond that she's ready to go, feels great, and is just waiting for WWE to call.
Bliss noted that she was ready prior to her one match at the Elimination Chamber event in Saudi Arabia. She hasn't been used since and noted about a possible return, “Hopefully soon. I’m just waiting on the call…been ready to go since before Saudi Arabia.”
Part of the hold-up might be a lack of creative plans for her character. A series of videos ran where WWE documented her journey back to Raw with a therapist, but that never led anywhere. She then got married to musician Ryan Cabrera and that also might have put a hold on any plans for her. Now, it could be a matter of WWE not knowing which direction they want to go, coupled with the fact that Bliss has been vocal in the past about not being pleased WWE doesn't have something creatively for her.
While it's baffling WWE can't find anything for her, it does make sense not to use her if there are no plans built around taking advantage of his skill set. She's one of the better characters in WWE, regardless of which way she chooses to play it. She's also got a ton of appeal in the women's division and she can go in the ring. She's not someone you waste.

Expect Something Big When She Does Return
If WWE is holding her off until they're ready to give her a big push, expect something big for her upon her return. It's not clear if the Alexa's Playground character will remain or if the company wants to go in another direction entirely. Lilly was a big merchandise seller for the company, as is Bliss. There's very little concern WWE would choose to release her as part of more rumored upcoming budget cuts.
