Alexa Bliss cut one of the best promos of her career following her Elimination Chamber win and apparently the tears at the beginning were real.

When it comes to WWE's current product it could be argued that kayfabe is broken on screen all too often. Yes, the use of the internet and social media nowadays has rendered a time when fans believed almost everything they saw unfolding on-screen to be true to the characters that were doing it a thing of the past but in some ways, the business has gone too far the other way.

Take Stephanie McMahon's announcement that there was going to be a first-ever women's Royal Rumble match for example. The Raw commissioner came to the ring amid all of the red brand's women battling in and around the ring and moments later they were all in the ring crying and hugging because they were so happy about the rumble. As monumental an announcement as it was it flew directly in the face of what had been happening just minutes earlier.

Thankfully, not everyone on the women's roster has forgotten the importance of staying true to their character. For a brief moment on Sunday night it looked as if Alexa Bliss might have as she cut a teary promo to the WWE Universe following her win. That didn't last long though and the Raw Women's Champion quickly snapped back to her heel persona and cut a promo on the crowd informing them that they would never achieve anything in their lives.

Once Bliss got backstage she spoke to ESPN about her experience inside the Elimination Chamber and admitted the tears at the beginning of her promo were, in fact, real ones. "Those were real tears for a minute, and then I had to be mean. It was great because I knew what my next move was. I was very excited to see how the crowd was going to react," Bliss told ESPN. The rest of the women's division can learn a thing or two from Bliss whose mic skills and dedication to her character are impeccable.

When Bliss was called up from NXT during the 2016 draft many fans likely thought it was a little early. She wasn't really given much of a chance to shine at Full Sail but clearly, someone saw something in her and that gamble has majorly paid off. Now she is one of the most valuable female Superstars on the roster, up there with Asuka, Charlotte Flair, and Ronda Rousey.
