AEW has become the latest casualty of the COVID-19 virus and has opted to change where the next two episodes of Dynamite will air from.
As the COVID-19 virus continues to spread and people are forced to take more extreme measures to slow that spread, the sports world is being hit in a major way. Most major leagues have either been paused or suspended indefinitely as they are forced to wait until the situation blows over.
As more and more governing bodies have reacted, the wrestling world will have felt under more and more pressure. Pro wrestling is the industry that never stops. Its calendar is year-round, and a "show must go on" mentality has been employed by Vince McMahon no matter what happens in his ring or in the world around it.

It's also unknown territory for AEW very early on into the promotion's existence. The company gathers thousands of people together in one place every single Wednesday for Dynamite. That won't be happening for the next two weeks at least, as was announced by AEW on social media. The March 18, 2020, episode of the show, which was scheduled to air live from Rochester, New York, will now air from Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida.
Fans who tuned in to last year's Fight for the Fallen show will be familiar with Daily's Place. It's the smaller outdoor arena connected to the Jacksonville Jaguars Bank Field Stadium. The show will still air live and AEW states it will be "managed under a strict attendance policy". The show in Rochester has been rescheduled for July 8, 2020, and any tickets purchased will be valid for the new date.
Since there is currently no way of knowing how long this outbreak might last, or how long it could go on for, AEW has gone ahead and announced the following week's episode of Dynamite will also be subject to a location change. However, as of right now, the new location has not yet been announced. That's the week AEW's Blood & Guts match is due to take place, so a location capable of housing two rings will need to be found.
