The last few months have been rather difficult for AEW in terms of business operations. The promotion's latest PPV, All Out, ended in disaster when then-AEW World Champion CM Punk got into a physical altercation with the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega backstage. The incident resulted in all four men being stripped of their title belts and suspended from the company.

The company's current Women's Champion, Thunder Rosa, has been dealing with a back injury and has been out of action for about the last two months. Kyle O'Reilly and Santana have also been off television and in recovery.

One of AEW's biggest stars, Adam Cole, has been out of action since this past June due to a concussion. News recently broke that his injury is causing some concern within the company.

Adam Cole's Injury Causing Concern

Adam Cole's last match was on June 26 at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. He competed in a four-way match for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Kazuchika Okada, Hangman Adam Page, and the defending champion, Jay White. The match ended abruptly and awkwardly due to the fact that Adam Cole sustained a concussion.

In the latest edition of Dave Meltzer's Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer said that Adam Cole's concussion situation is "very concerning." He went on to add that "a number of people have brought up being very concerned for him."

Concussions are an infamously complicated injury to handle. Hangman Page has also recently suffered a concussion on AEW Dynamite and is said to be recovering well. Hopefully, Adam Cole's concussion recovery picks up and we're able to see him in the ring again soon.
