Fans of The Magicians who miss its departure may be looking for other magical fantastical series to binge. This list of 10 is where to begin.

The Magicians aired its fifth and final season in 2020. Based on a series of books by Lev Grossman, it was often described as a grown-up version of Harry Potter and Narnia. This underrated show quickly developed a cult following, as it gave fans one of the most unique takes on the fantasy genre.

Many fans are still looking for something to replace The Magicians-shaped hole in their hearts. While there is really no other show quite like The Magicians, there are a few other great fantasy series that fans will love.

Updated on May 30, 2022, by Shawn S. Lealos: The Magicians wrapped up its run two years ago, a SyFy series allowed to end its story on its own before its cancelation. As a result, fans for a chance to see the Lev Grossman story play out on the small screen and watched the young magic users head into the future and set off for their fates. However, with that show gone, there are still plenty of great similar shows to watch for the same feeling of magic and discovery. Whether it is following more young people as they learn how to control their powers or taking the story to the more powerful magical beings that set out to achieve their goals, fans of this sort of fantasy will have no problem finding new stories to fill the gap.
