The WWE roster is always a competitive place as the company is considered by many to be the ultimate place for professional wrestlers, therefore anybody who makes it there is talented in some way. However, everybody has a distinct role, and there are only so many spots in the main event scene.

Because of that, there are plenty of wrestlers who end up being at the other end of the card, becoming jobbers. While this does lead to being beaten regularly, those who are good at the role can connect with the fans on a special level, with their victories often being celebrated massively.

10 Gillberg

Gillberg Light Heavyweight Champion

The Gillberg character is something that fans fondly remember from the Attitude Era, with this being WWE's answer to Goldberg. It was a clear shot at the WCW star, yet instead of creating an undefeated streak, he would often just put over everybody else as a means of mocking Goldberg.

He was also a jobber before taking on this gimmick, yet he was able to secure a memorable victory against Christian, which did lead to him holding a championship. Even though fans think he never won, Gillberg is a former Light Heavyweight Champion, with that win being a huge moment.

9 Brooklyn Brawler

The Brooklyn Brawler Cropped

Brooklyn Brawler is one of the most iconic jobbers in wrestling history, as he would pop up over different eras for the company. However, it is the Attitude Era when he made his biggest impact, and even though he could perform well if given the chance, the Brawler just made others look good.

Despite that, he did secure a shock win over Triple H on an episode of Monday Night Raw which nobody saw coming. Of course, it wasn't clean as he had help from Taka Michinoku and Funaki due to it being a handicap match, but it didn't make the moment any less impressive.

8 The Blue Meanie

The Blue Meanie

The Blue Meanie was an iconic part of ECW and someone that fans loved seeing on television. That didn't change after his move to WWE, but he was primarily booked as a jobber which was highlighted by the fact he was in a faction called The J.O.B. Squad.

That faction was often used to put over other people, but on an episode of Shotgun Saturday, they did earn a surprise victory. Meanie teamed up with Gillberg to shock the wrestling world as they defeated The Acolytes, featuring a man that Meanie ended up having a lot of history with, JBL.

7 Stevie Richards

Stevie Richards in WWE

Stevie Richards was another wrestler who was traditionally placed into the jobber category at that time in his career, even though he was a talented worker. Inside the ring, Richards could put on great encounters whenever he was given the opportunity, but his matches were often short.

Despite that, he did pick up a few impressive victories across his career. One of those took place on an episode of SmackDown in 1999 when he ended up defeating Chris Jericho, which was a result that stunned everybody at the time.

6 Shawn Stasiak

Shawn Stasiak Meat

Shawn Stasiak was also a talented in-ring performer who had a great look, and that's something that could have led to big things for him. However, WWE had other ideas and the Meat gimmick put an end to his chances of being taken seriously at any point by the WWE Universe.

Despite that, Stasiak did get a big victory at the Invasion PPV where he teamed up with Hugh Morrus and Chris Kanyon to defeat a formidable team of Billy Gunn, Albert, and Big Show, which was a huge moment for him.

5 Chaz

Beaver Cleavage

When he was involved in the tag team division as one-half of The Headbangers, Chaz was taken seriously by fans, and he was able to earn plenty of success. But as a singles act things were different, and that was clear when he took on the Beaver Cleavage gimmick, which wasn't a good one.

However, even at this stage of his career, Chaz managed to pick up a strong victory alongside D-Lo Brown. The two men feuded against The Dudley Boyz, and that led to them securing a win on an episode of Sunday Night Heat against the future Hall Of Famers.

4 Funaki

Funaki is a beloved wrestling figure and SmackDown's #1 commentator, but throughout his career, he took on the role of the jobber. It was extremely rare that Funaki was given the chance to defeat any of his opponents, even when he wasn't facing one of the top stars on the roster.

However, he got a rare chance to compete on the big stage at the 2002 Rebellion PPV, which wasn't something that often happened to him. To add to that, Funaki got the win that night as he defeated Crash in what was a major moment in his career.

3 Tiger Ali Singh

Tiger Ali Singh wasn't around in WWE for too long, but he did become a memorable jobber during that time, often doing a great job at putting over other stars. However, at the UK-exclusive PPVCapital Carnage, he was able to secure a surprising win against Edge.

While Edge wasn't at the level he would go on to become as the Rated R Superstar, even at that point he was a much bigger star than Ali Singh, but that didn't stop the upset from taking place.

2 Maven

Maven

Maven was a wrestler who came into the company at the end of the Attitude Era, and he certainly made an impact during his run with the company. As the first-ever Tough Enough winner it was clear WWE wanted to make him look good, but even that didn't stop him from losing the majority of his matches.

Despite that, Maven did secure a monumental victory as he not only defeated The Undertaker on an episode of SmackDown, but he managed to take the Hardcore Championship from him in the process.

1 Al Snow

Al Snow Head

Al Snow was a brilliant entertainer, and that skill allowed him to always have a place on the card no matter what. While he was a talented wrestler, which has been seen by his post-wrestling career coaching skills, he was primarily used as a jobber throughout the Attitude Era.

He was best known for walking around with the Head gimmick, rather than the victories that he was able to secure. However, the biggest win of his run took place on an episode of SmackDown when he defeated Perry Saturn to become the European Champion.
