Roman Reigns might be the face of WWE, but that doesn't mean he has competed against everyone possible. While he has dominated the main event scene ever since he arrived as part of The Shield, certain wrestlers have slipped through the cracks.

The Big Dog might have had fantastic encounters with the likes of Brock Lesnar and AJ Styles, but there are some dream matches that he is yet to have. Without further delay, here are 10 WWE superstar wrestlers that Reigns has never faced. Hopefully, this will be rectified soon.
10 Mustafa Ali
One current talent that Roman Reigns has yet to come up against is Mustafa Ali. He's one of the most gifted professional wrestlers on the roster, but they've never faced off from each other.
While both have been babyfaces throughout the time they've been on the roster together, a competitive match would be a great way to establish Ali. With his high-flying style and Reigns' pure strength, this could be a great match.
9 Goldberg
This big match was actually meant to be a main event at WrestleMania 36 but due to the circumstances and concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic,it never came to pass. Roman Reigns opted out of the pay-per-view event due to understandable health concerns so instead, Goldberg faced Braun Strowman.
With Goldberg only popping up for limited appearances every now and then, it remains to be seen whether or not this will happen again at a later date. Hopefully, the battle of the spears can take place at some point down the line.
8 Jeff Hardy
Jeff Hardy is another wrestling legend who is still very active but has never wrestled against Roman Reigns. For one reason or another, the Big Dog and the Charismatic Enigma haven't met inside the ring.
Hardy is back to being a singles wrestler and therefore the focus for him is more on getting these big matches done. With Hardy's selling and underdog spirit, these two could do some great things together. Both men are now on SmackDown, so this situation should change.
7 MVP
Roman Reigns and MVP didn't cross over during their main roster runs, as MVP had already left the company so they never got the chance to meet in the ring. However, with MVP now back in WWE, there is a greater chance this could happen.

MVP might not be the wrestler that he once was, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be great for Roman to tick it off his bucket list. Plus, with MVP's incredible promo abilities, he could talk anyone into making a match between them seem like a big deal.
6 Shelton Benjamin
Another man who dominated in WWE during the same period that MVP was around is Shelton Benjamin. But unlike MVP who only now came back to the WWE, Benjamin returned to WWE several years ago, therefore it is surprising a match between him and Reigns has never happened.
This is especially so when WWE uses Benjamin from time to time in Brock Lesnar's feuds, who Roman has wrestled many times. They could still have a great match if they were given the right amount of time as Benjamin is just as good as ever.
5 Enzo Amore
While Roman Reigns might have collided with Big Cass once during a Universal Championship match, he never faced Enzo Amore. While it would likely have been a very uneven match if it was a singles bout, a tag team could have been fun.

Having two members of The Shield face Enzo and Cass could have made for a really fun tag team match at some point. However, the two men have teamed up in the past for a six-man tag.
4 Tye Dillinger
Someone else who is no longer with the company that Roman Reigns didn't wrestle is Tye Dillinger. The Perfect 10 is currently making a name for himself with AEW but during his time in WWE, he was incredibly popular.
Putting them together might have done Roman no favors due to the crowd reaction initially. But later in his run, Tye did turn heel and that could have opened up a perfect time for them to have an entertaining match together.
3 Wade Barrett
Wade Barrett, the former leader of the Nexus, was someone who wrestling fans felt was going to be a major star in WWE at one point but due to poor booking, that sadly never happened.
However, it is a surprise that he and Roman never had an actual match, especially considering that he feuded with the League Of Nations. So while the two men might have had plenty of interactions together during that period, they just didn't have a proper feud against each other.
2 Johnny Gargano
This is one match that has to happen at some point in the future simply due to how great it could be. Roman Reigns and his power and speed being mixed with Johnny Gargano's agility and technical ability would make for a fun encounter.
If Gargano was brought onto the main roster, either as a heel or a babyface Gargano could be a major asset to the main roster. Even if he doesn't get called up, this is still a match that could be booked on a Takeover or Survivor Series.
1 Edge
While they might have had a few interactions during Edge's epic Royal Rumble return, the two men have never had an actual match. The main reason for that is due to the fact that Edge has spent all Roman's career injured.
However, now that the Rated-R Superstar is back, this is an obvious match that WWE has to book at some stage. Fans would absolutely love to see this one as this could be a major headline feud if done correctly.
