Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Matthews are noted animal lovers, as evidenced by the multiple dogs that they own. Their dogs are a Pit Bull, named Steel, and a Cane Corso named Silver, which is shown often on their social media accounts.

The dogs themselves also have a social media account that is quite popular. Steel & Silver has over 200 thousand followers on Instagram, not bad for a pair of pups.

Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Matthews have two dogs, and will soon have two children as well. They had their first child, a girl, in February 2021. They also recently announced that they will be having a second child, a boy, next year.

Interestingly enough, during Matthews's first pregnancy, the pair admitted they didn't see each other much. Due to Mahomes playing football and being active outside during the COVID-19 pandemic, he stayed in a different part of the house for much of the 2020-2021 season.

In February 2020, Patrick Mahomes won the first Super Bowl of his career by coming from behind to defeat the San Francisco 49ers. In September of that year, he got the first ring of his career in a ceremony at Arrowhead Stadium.

Matthews played soccer in high school as well as college. Following her collegiate career, she had a brief career playing for the Icelandic club Afturelding.

In July 2020, Patrick Mahomes signed a ten-year contract extension, totaling $503 million dollars. While he's re-negotiated his contract since then, he's still made it clear that he's a Chief for the long haul, and that means living in Kansas City.

Funnily enough, it turns out that Mahomes and Brittany Matthews had no intentions of leaving prior to the new contract. While it wasn't highly publicized, in 2019, the two bought a nearly $2 million dollar house in Kansas City, Missouri.

Matthews's company is titled 'Brittany Lynne Fitness' and highlights her training as a physical trainer. On the website, she sells training programs that work out different parts of the body.

Mahomes currently holds an ownership stake in the Kansas City Royals, and Sporting Kansas City. Meanwhile, Matthews is the co-owner of the women's soccer team, the Kansas City Current.
