WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner is a legend in the wrestling business, who has had a lot of success and controversy. Furthermore, Steiner's wrestling career has spanned over three decades, and he has wrestled in multiple wrestling promotions where he has captured several championships. Steiner had won multiple Tag Team Championships with his older brother Rick as the Steiner Brothers, but Steiner went on to become a major singles star in WCW.

Steiner has wrestled in WWE, WCW, and Impact Wrestling and he won championships in all three of those promotions. However, there were some championships that Steiner failed to get his hands on throughout his wrestling career, and there were some gimmick matches that Steiner

10 Never Won King Of The Ring

Scott Steiner WWE Tag Team Champion

The King of the Ring tournament is one of the most prestigious tournaments in WWE history with several winners of the event going on to win World Championships. However, Steiner never managed to win King of the Ring, and it could have been a huge moment in his WWE career if he won it.

Steiner competed in the 1994 King of the Ring tournament but he lost to IRS in the opening round of the tournament. Owen Hart went on to win the King of the Ring tournament, a year after his brother Bret Hart won it.

9 Never Won The Intercontinental Championship

The Intercontinental Championship is one of the most prestigious championships, and it is seen as the stepping stone to becoming the WWE Champion. Moreover, Steiner has failed to win a singles championship during his time in WWE.

Steiner challenged Rob Van Dam for the Intercontinental Championship on the October 13, 2003 edition of Raw. However, Steiner wasn't bothered about winning the championship as he got himself intentionally disqualified after he clocked RVD in the head with a steel chair.

8 Never Had A Singles Match At WrestleMania

Surprisingly, Scott Steiner has wrestled at WrestleMania just once throughout his career. Steiner's only in-ring appearance at WrestleMania was at WrestleMania 9 when he teamed up with his brother Rick, and they defeated the Headshrinkers in arguably the best match of the night.

Steiner was a tag team competitor in the early stages of his WWE career, and he left WWE in mid-1994. Steiner didn't return to WWE until Survivor Series 2002, but he failed to have a one-on-one match at WrestleMania.

7 Never Won The TNA World Heavyweight Championship

Scott Steiner joined Impact Wrestling in 2006 and he had a decent run in the company. In 2008, Steiner joined the Main Event Mafia alongside fellow WCW alumni Booker T, Kevin Nash, Sting, and former WWE Champion Kurt Angle was the leader of the faction.

Steiner won the TNA World Tag Team Championship with Booker T. However, Steiner never captured the TNA World Heavyweight Championship in Impact Wrestling. Steiner winning the TNA World Heavyweight Championship would have been huge but he unsuccessfully challenged for the top prize in Impact Wrestling.

6 Never Headlined SummerSlam

SummerSlam is one of the biggest premium live events of the year, and like WrestleMania, Scott Steiner has competed at the Biggest Party of the Summer once. Scott and his brother Rick teamed up to go head-to-head with the Heavenly Bodies at SummerSlam 1993.

This was a solid tag team match, and the Steiner Brothers were victorious. Scott has been involved in a plethora of major matches throughout his career but he has never main evented SummerSlam.

5 Never Competed In A Hell In A Cell Match

The Hell in a Cell match was introduced to WWE fans in October 1997 when Shawn Michaels defeated The Undertaker to become the number one contender for Bret Hart's WWE Championship. Scott Steiner was in WCW when this match took place, and Steiner has failed to compete in a Hell in a Cell match.

Steiner isn't unfamiliar with cages as he has competed in some cage matches and WCW, he was involved in War Games. Steiner and Triple H's matches over the World Heavyweight Championship and a stipulation like Hell in a Cell could have made their encounters better.

4 Never Won WWE's World Heavyweight Championship

Scott Steiner won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship once, but when he returned to WWE at Survivor Series 2002, he feuded with Triple H over the World Heavyweight Championship. Steiner and Triple H's rivalry was underwhelming, and their match at the 2003 Royal Rumble was poor.

The finish was a disqualification victory for Steiner which led to an inevitable rematch at No Way Out 2003. Steiner was unable to defeat Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship and he was out of the title picture after his feud with Triple H ended.

3 Never Won The WWE Championship

Scott Steiner WCW World Champion

Scott Steiner was the top dog in WCW when he was the reigning WCW World Heavyweight Champion, but he was unable to translate his success as a top star in WCW when he returned to WWE. Surprisingly, Steiner has never won a singles championship in WWE.

Another championship missing from Steiner's resume is the WWE Championship. The likes of Bret Hart and Yokozuna were WWE Champions in 1993 and 1994 when Steiner was on his tag team run. It would have been interesting to see how Steiner would have done as WWE Champion but he never got the chance to hold the gold.

2 Never Headlined WrestleMania

Scott Steiner in WWE

Aforementioned, Scott Steiner has wrestled at WrestleMania just once in his career. That's surprising that Steiner hasn't wrestled at WrestleMania multiple times. Furthermore, not every wrestler gets to the main event of WrestleMania, and Steiner is on a long list of wrestlers who have never headlined WrestleMania.

Steiner's return to WWE in 2002 was a failure in the end as he won no championships, but he did suffer from a foot injury. A WrestleMania main event eluded Steiner from his career, and if he managed to main event WrestleMania, it would have been a big deal.

1 Never Won The Royal Rumble

The Steiner Brothers Royal Rumble 1994 Cropped

Scott Steiner has competed in just two Royal Rumble matches in his WWE career, and in both instances, he failed to win the Royal Rumble. Steiner's first taste of competing in the Royal Rumble match was in 1994. If Steiner was going to challenge for the WWE Championship, he would have had to win the Rumble from the unenviable number one position.

Scott and his brother Rick shared a cool moment as both were in the Royal Rumble match simultaneously. Nevertheless, Steiner competed in his second Royal Rumble match in 2004 and he came up short once more. Had Steiner won the Royal Rumble match, he more than likely would have headlined WrestleMania in a championship match, but that failed to materialize.
