Professional wrestling is in Jeff Jarrett's blood and he was destined to be a wrestler. He's a third-generation wrestler as the late Jerry Jarrett was his father, and his grandfather Eddie Marlin was also a wrestler. Nevertheless, Jarrett was one of the most fascinating wrestlers in the '90s as he jumped ship from WWE to WCW multiple times in the Monday Night Wars.

Jarrett was a heel for the majority of his WWE career, and he was at his best as a heel. Jarrett has had a country music gimmick, and whilst Jarrett never won the WWE Championship, he had a successful career in WWE with several facts that fans need to know about his career.
10 Alliance With The Roadie
Jeff Jarrett had a successful run in the New Generation Era as a country music singer. The Roadie began an alliance with Jarrett, and "With My Baby Tonight" became one of the most popular songs in WWE history, especially in later years.
Double J had success with The Roadie by his side, and he had some fantastic Intercontinental Championship matches with the likes of Razor Ramon and Shawn Michaels. Their alliance came to a halt in the summer of 1995, and Jarrett departed WWE, but he returned at the tail-end of the year.
9 A Member Of The NWA Stable
On the January 5, 1998 edition of Raw, Jeff Jarrett defeated Barry Windham for the vacant NWA North American Heavyweight Championship. Jarrett was managed by Jim Cornette, and it was a different direction for Jarrett, and he sported his hairstyle in a ponytail.
Jarrett had a short reign as NWA North American Heavyweight Champion and he was only champion for two months as he departed the faction and vacated the title. The whole NWA invasion angle in 1998 was short-lived, and it wasn't successful.
8 He Is A Six-Time Intercontinental Champion
Jeff Jarrett is one of the greatest Intercontinental Champions of all time. Between 1995-1999, Jarrett won the Intercontinental Championship six times. Jarrett was the first man to win the Intercontinental Championship five and six times, and he held the record for nine years with the most Intercontinental Title reigns until Chris Jericho broke it at Unforgiven 2004.
Jarrett's maiden Intercontinental Championship reign was his longest as he held it for 94 days. Jarrett beat the likes of Razor Ramon, The Godfather, Edge, and D'Lo Brown to kickstart his Intercontinental Championship reigns.
7 Won The WWE Tag Team Championship With Owen Hart

Jarrett and Hart had a fun run as Tag Team Champions as they retained the titles against Mark Henry and D'Lo Brown at St. Valentine's Day: Massacre and they retained the titles at WrestleMania 15. They dropped the titles to X-Pac and Kane in April 1999, and unfortunately, Hart sadly passed away a month later.
6 Double Champion In 1999
Jeff Jarrett clashed with D'Lo Brown in a Winner Takes All match for the Intercontinental and European Championships at SummerSlam 1999. This was a competitive championship match, but there was a shocking heel turn with Mark Henry betraying Brown with Jarrett securing both championships.
Jarrett became the second man after D'Lo to hold both the Intercontinental and European Championships simultaneously. However, Jarrett's time as a double champion was short-lived as he gifted Henry the European Championship on the following episode of Raw.
5 Lost A Hair Vs. Hair Match
SummerSlam 1998 was a brilliant edition of SummerSlam in the Attitude Era, and one of the main highlights on the show was Jeff Jarrett colliding with X-Pac in a hair vs. hair match. Double J underwent a new look as he lost to X-Pac with Jarrett getting his hair cut.
Jarrett's new look with short hair suited him in the Attitude Era and a new demeanor came his way. Moreover, Jarrett received his comeuppance with Howard Finkel and the Headbangers present for Jarrett getting his hair cut.

Cracks began to show in Jarrett and Debra's partnership as Debra came out with D'Lo Brown at SummerSlam 1999. A month later, Debra hit Jarrett with a guitar in his Intercontinental Championship match with Chyna at Unforgiven 1999. Nevertheless, their close to the year-long alliance was a successful one in Jarrett's final run in WWE.
3 Contract Expired Before No Mercy 1999
Jeff Jarrett was the reigning Intercontinental Champion by the time No Mercy 1999 rolled around, and he defended the gold against Chyna in a Good Housekeeping Match. With Jarrett's contract expired, he held up Vince McMahon for a large sum of money in agreement to do the match.
Jarrett and Chyna had a decent Intercontinental Championship match, and the Ninth Wonder of the World made history as the first woman to hold the Intercontinental Championship. Jarrett returned to WCW, and Mr. McMahon got some revenge when he purchased WCW and fired Jarrett on the March 26, 2001, simulcast of Raw and Nitro.
2 WWE Hall Of Famer
It seemed increasingly unlikely that Jeff Jarrett would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame considering the fallout of No Mercy 1999. However, almost 19 years later, Jarrett returned to WWE by being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in April 2018 by his good friend Road Dogg.
Jarrett was emotional, and he lightened up spirits by singing "With My Baby Tonight" alongside Road Dogg. It was good to see Jarrett back into the fold, and he was more than deserving of his spot in the WWE Hall of Fame.
1 Producer
Jeff Jarrett was well and truly back in the fold in WWE as he became a backstage producer in January 2019. Jarrett competed in his first Royal Rumble match in two decades by entering the 2019 men's Royal Rumble match as the second entrant. Jarrett was eliminated by Elias, who was the number one entrant, and he smashed a guitar across his back.
Jarrett did a decent job behind the scenes, and he left WWE in January 2021. However, he returned once again for a short time as a producer in 2022, and he was the special guest referee in the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship match between The Usos and The Street Profits in his hometown of Nashville, Tennessee at SummerSlam.
