World Championship Wrestling was known as the "home where the big boys played" throughout the 1990s. WCW was the second-largest wrestling promotion in the United States throughout the 90s. For 83 consecutive weeks, WCW was arguably the most successful promotion in the world. While the 1980s would be the era of the muscle men in professional wrestling, WCW in the 1990s had their fair share of hulking stars. WCW had many main even feuds featuring super sized men such as Hulk Hogan, Lex Luger, Sting, Bill Goldberg and Sid Vicious. Even the WCW Women's division was physically stacked.

Yet the most muscular physique of WCW were also found in their tag team division. WCW would have an incredibly talented tag team roster throughout the 1990s. Some of those teams were absolutely physically jacked.

10 Faces Of Fear

The Faces of Fear (Meng and Barbarian) and Jimmy Hart

Meng and the Barbarian with Jimmy Hart as their manager comprised the Faces of Fear. One of the most dominating tag teams in all of WCW. It is a shame that the Faces of Fear never won championship gold in WCW. Yet the hulking duo had the intimidation and size down. The Monster Meng stood 6'1 and weighed 275 pounds. His partner the Barbarian stood 6'2 and weighed 300 pounds. The duo's muscular physiques, suggests their name could have been the bodies of fear too. Just not nearly as nice a ring to it though.

9 Chuck Palumbo & Sean O'Haire (Natural Born Thrillers)

While Chuck Palumbo and Sean O'Haire were both members of the Natural Born Thrillers, initially Palumbo teamed with Shawn Stasiak and O'Haire teamed with Mark Jindrak. Yet the genetically jacked superstars would come together at WCW Sin to defeat the Insiders, Kevin Nash and Diamond Dallas Page, for the WCW World Titles. Both men were chiseled specimen from the WCW Power Plant standing around 6'6 and weighing 275 pounds. WWE would bring in the duo during the Invasion angle due to their size and potential.

8 Totally Buff

Totally Buff came together in an effort to overcome Bill Goldberg. The tag team consisted of main event singles superstars Lex Luger and Buff Bagwell. The heel duo would get a dubious win over Bill Goldberg at the aforementioned WCW Sin. Soon the team would join Ric Flair's Magnificent Seven until the end of WCW. The Total Package Lex Luger stood 6'4 and weighed 265 shredded pounds. Buff Bagwell was 6'1 and a ripped 245 pounds. Together they make one of the most muscular tag teams to ever compete in WCW.

7 High Voltage

High Voltage seemed like the blueprint for a custom-built tag team in WCW. Yet the duo never took off as anything more than enhancement talent to the stars. There is no denying that Rage and Kaos had the look of potential World Tag Team contenders. Rage was 5'10 and 254 pounds of muscle. While Kaos stood 6' and weighed 250 pounds. The duo popped on WCW television with their muscular physiques and matching spandex. After an injury to Rage, Kaos would join Rick Steiner and win the World Tag Team Championship.

6 The Outsiders

The Outsiders get a ton of credit for their role in the New World Order and changing professional wrestling forever. Yet, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash aren't given as much credit for their physiques. The duo would be known more for their outlandish behavior than their muscles. Still both men had great size and power. Kevin Nash stood 6'10 and weighed 328 pounds. The late great Scott Hall was 6'6 and 280 plus pounds of muscle. Hall in particular could have easily been considered a body guy, if it wasn't for his technical expertise and charisma. The Outsiders would capture 6 WCW World Tag Team Titles.

5 Harlem Heat

Harlem Heat is arguably the greatest tag team in WCW history. Booker T and Stevie Ray are 10 time World Tag Team Champions in WCW. The duo combined power and speed with agility and explosive athleticism to become a highly decorated and highly memorable tag team.

Stevie Ray stood 6'5 and weighed 292 pounds. While Booker T would stand 6'2 and weigh 256. Both men were larger than a lot of the tag teams they would face in WCW. Their muscular physiques added to the Harlem Heat brand.

4 KroniK

One of the brightest spots during the dying days of WCW would be the tag team duo known as KroniK. Brian Adams and Bryan Clark would combine and capture 2 WCW World Tag Team Titles. The former WWE stars Crush and Adam Bomb looked like a million bucks before the match. Both Standing 6'6 inches tall and weighing around 300 pounds, KroniK was intimidating. While neither muscleman was particular good inside the ring, their character work and physiques were very impressive.

3 Doom

The duo of Butch Reed and Ron Simmons would be known as Doom. And while Doom stayed together less than two years, they made a lasting impression in pro wrestling. First as masked opponents of the Steiner Brothers managed by Woman and then as unmasked WCW World Tag Team Champions managed by Teddy Long.

Their size and strength was undeniable in the ring. Butch Reed was 6'2, 262 athletic pounds. Ron Simmons was even heavier at 6'2, 270 pounds. The former football players had two of the most muscular physiques in all of WCW.

2 Steiner Brothers

The Steiner Brothers are former 11 time World Tag Team Champions, claiming 7 WCW world tag championships. While Scott Steiner would be known for his physique after the brothers broke up, Big Poppa Pump was always a physical specimen. Yet, don't sleep on the muscle of the Dog Faced Gremlin who at only 5'11, carried around 280 pounds of muscle. The Genetic Freak Scott Steiner was a little taller than Rick and was known for the massive peaks on his biceps. The Steiner Brothers were jacked.

1 Road Warriors

The Road Warriors were the proverbial muscle-bound superstars professional wrestling was known for in the 1980s. Yet, the duo would run roughshod over WCW in the 1990s as well. The Road Warriors are one of the most recognizable tag teams in the history of the sport. Known for the massive pop the face painted duo would receive during their entrants, the Warriors are legendary. Their legacy may be the only thing larger than their muscles. Hawk stood 6'3 and weighed 275 pounds while the Animal stood 6'1 285 pounds. The face paint, the spiked shoulder pads, the muscles all combined to make the Road Warriors a Hall of Fame, GOAT worthy tag team.
