While being jacked is no longer as crucial in wrestling as it once was, there is no doubt that it doesn't hurt. Many wrestlers in great shape have been able to have great success over the years with a great look, such as John Cena or Goldberg.

However, there are also plenty of jacked wrestlers that have ended up being forgotten. It proves that having a great physique is not always sufficient to guarantee success within the business. These wrestlers may have had the physique, but they lacked in other areas necessary to become truly memorable in the long term.

10 Mason Ryan

Mason Ryan

Mason Ryan was given a great opportunity early on, and that was seemingly down to the fact he had a great physique, and he looked like Batista. He was given an early opportunity to be involved in Nexus, but Ryan wasn't in the group at its peak early on, which led to him being forgotten.

Ryan slowly fell down the card from that point, and ultimately fans were unable to remember him. He didn't get the chance to make a true impact on the business during his time within the company to have reached that spot with fans.

9 Nathan Jones

Nathan Jones

Nathan Jones was a huge wrestler with a legitimately great body, and that is something that allowed him to get pushed at one point. However, outside an early run at the top of the card, he didn't last long or sustain the opportunities he had been given down to his body.

This is why fans have forgotten about Jones over the years, falling down the card, and then disappearing from the business altogether. However, he has been able to find success within the movie world, where his size has continued to be a big deal for him.

8 Ted Arcidi

Ted Arcidi

Ted Arcidi was well known for his strength, having a great career in powerlifting. He was able to lift some incredible weights, and that was down to the fact he was extremely strong. He could bench press over 700 pounds, and was the first man to do that, which showcased how jacked he was.

However, inside the ring, he wasn't able to make a massive impact. His time in wrestling was quite short, and that is something that ultimately stopped him from being a memorable person, at least as far as wrestling goes.

7 Hugo Knox

Hugo Knox in NXT

Hugo Knox was a former professional soccer player, and that sporting background caught the attention of WWE. He was brought in, and got to work on a lot of NXT live events. He is someone who always stood out because of his fantastic size, having a brilliant physique.

But when it came down to the in-ring work, he didn't quite get to the level needed to make it in WWE. He barely was given any opportunities when it came to television work, which is ultimately why fans do not recall him as a talent.

6 Bam Neely

Bam Neely was put into La Familia purely because of his size. He was the muscle for the group, most specifically for Chavo Guerrero. He was supposed to be an intimidating wrestler on the outside, which would allow Chavo to trash talk as much as possible.

While he was involved in a famous faction, that did not prove to be enough in terms of making him a memorable wrestler. Fans think about Edge or The Major Brothers, not Neely, as he ultimately wasn't good enough from bell to bell.

5 Ezekiel Jackson

Ezekiel Jackson is another wrestler who took on a bodyguard gimmick at points in his career, working alongside William Regal. However, he did eventually branch out, even managing to become both the ECW, and the Intercontinental Champion within his time.

However, he was a weak holder of both titles, mainly because his matches were always very box standard. A bigger reason for him being forgotten overall by fans though is because he didn't have enough charisma to get over with the audience.

4 Rob Conway

Rob Conway

Rob Conway had an amazing physique, and that within itself should have led to him being a great star. He did get some opportunities, particularly within La Resistance. Some fans may remember that team, but he was added in as a third member, and fans typically recall them before that point.

That's because Rob didn't get the time to truly develop his personality and put a rubber stamp on things. He certainly had a fantastic look, and that allowed him to appear like he belonged, but it wasn't enough to be memorable.

3 Dan Matha

Dan Matha Cropped (1)

Dan Matha is someone who was pushed within NXT very briefly. His big opportunity inside the ring came getting squashed by Samoa Joe, which instantly made audiences lose interest in him. From that point on, Matha was never able to get back to the top.

He was tall and jacked, which meant that he ticked those boxes perfectly for WWE. However, even though the company attempted to push him and get him to the necessary standard, that just didn't take place for him.

2 Tino Sabbatelli

Having had a successful career in the NFL, it didn't matter to Tino Sabbatelli whether he made it as a wrestler or not. However, he certainly tried, and there's no denying the fact he had the charisma to get over with a crowd, particularly as a heel, as he could be easy to hate.

Tino also had a fantastic look, but his push was hit-and-miss, which stopped him from getting over. Ultimately, fans forgot about him, even with him jumping ship to AEW, only to controversially return to WWE immediately.

1 Reno

Reno WWE Cropped

Reno was someone who had the opportunity to work in both WCW and WWE, but that wasn't enough to get him over with fans. He was given chances by each company because he had a great look, and at that time, being jacked was an important part of the business.

However, he didn't manage to put together any storylines that were able to stand out, which is why fans have forgotten him. Reno was involved in the invasion angle, but it's the fact WCW had so many small names like Reno that the whole thing didn't work.
