Vince McMahon created a lot of superstars over the years, we just have to think of The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Undertaker or John Cena. However, Mr. McMahon also wasted the potential of a lot of wrestlers, relegating them to the mid-card, booking them in silly storylines and even eventually releasing them.

It's very likely that Triple H would have known how to book some of those wrestlers, helping them reach their potential and succeed in the company. Without further ado, let's take a look at 10 former WWE wrestlers who Triple H would use well today.

10 Malakai Black

Malakai Black AEW

Unfortunately, Vince McMahon never knew how to use Aleister Black, and his main mistake was that he didn't give him creative freedom. It was like locking a beast in a cage, or keeping a shark in a fish tank. Black had the in-ring skills, he just needed good storylines.

Instead, Trips did book Black properly in NXT, making him a real threat, and a fun wrestler to watch. With that said, Triple H would use Malakai Black well today, that's for sure.

9 Bronson Reed

Bronson Reed Posing

Bronson Reed (currently known as JONAH) was one of the wrestlers who was inexplicably released from WWE. His performances in NXT were good enough to warrant his continuity with the company, but when Vince McMahon doesn't like a wrestler, there's nothing you can do about it.

Reed became North American Champion after defeating Johnny Gargano in a great Steel Cage match, which reflects that Triple H really trusted Reed.

8 Peyton Royce

Peyton Royce WWE

Peyton Royce was criminally underrated and underused in WWE. She is a talented wrestler, with great promo skills and good in-ring skills.

She definitely deserved a singles push, but instead the best Vince planned for her was a tag team title run with Billie Kay, which wasn't bad at all because they made for a very entertaining duo. Royce is currently pregnant, but it would be great if Triple H brings her back in the future, as he would probably use her well.

7 Matt Cardona

Matt Cardona NWA Champion

Zack Ryder had some good moments in his 12-year WWE career. He may have had the potential to become world champion, but he never got the opportunity. He reinvented himself, became Matt Cardona, adopting a more intense, hardcore style of wrestling and achieving a level of popularity he may never have reached in WWE.

Matt Cardona's gimmick could work in WWE under Triple H's creative direction. The 37-year-old wrestler has said he doesn't want to return to WWE, but dreams of winning the WWE Championship every day.

6 Samoa Joe

Samoa Joe holding the NXT Title

Unfortunately, injuries were a consistent hindrance in Samoa Joe's WWE career, which eventually led to his release. He is the only wrestler in history to win the NXT Title three times, despite not exactly being a wrestler who needs to develop.

This fact speaks to the confidence Triple H has in Samoa Joe, as he knows the Samoan Submission Machine is an ideal guy to carry a brand. Surely The Game would love to have Samoa Joe back to book him as the great wrestler he is.

5 Andrade

Andrade NXT Champion

Andrade was protagonist of arguably the best match in NXT history, his victory over Johnny Gargano at NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia. Likewise, Andrade’s best version was in NXT, and why is that? Because of Triple H.

On the main roster Andrade was not able to succeed, and now in AEW Andrade El Idolo is not doing anything great either. Booking is a key aspect of a wrestler’s career, and the only one who has booked Andrade properly has been Triple H. In that sense, Triple H would use Andrade well today, hands down.

4 Keith Lee

HHH And Keith Lee

Keith Lee was amazing in NXT, he delivered great matches on a regular basis, had a good gimmick and won the NXT North American Championship and the NXT Championship.

Triple H really knew how to book the Limitless Lee, and today that would be no different. On the other hand, Vince McMahon never knew what to do with Lee, and even gave him the "Bearcat" persona, which was an absolute failure.

3 Kairi Sane

kairi sane winning the nxt women's title

It is hard to believe that Kairi Sane did not win a singles title on the WWE main roster, as she is one of the most talented female performers to ever step into a WWE ring.

For some reason Vince McMahon never pushed her, and perhaps that’s why she ended up going home. On the other hand, Triple H liked Kairi Sane. In fact, it was Kairi Sane who ended Shayna Baszler’s first NXT Women’s Title reign in an awesome match at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn 4.

2 FTRThe Revival as NXT Tag Team Champions

FTR is currently one of the best tag teams in the world, maybe the best. Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler have been wrestling together for so long that they wrestle as one, they have so much chemistry. In WWE they were known as the Revival, they certainly won three tag team championships in one year, but their reigns were no big deal.

They weren't booked the right way. In NXT, on the other hand, they did have a couple of great reigns, with several epic matches. Triple H would get the most out of this tag team today, no doubt about it.

1 Adam Cole

Adam Cole and Triple H Cropped

Adam Cole was considered one of the best wrestlers in the world when he was in NXT under Triple H. However, since Cole came to AEW he has left a lot to be desired.

It is not that he hasn't done a good job, but his AEW run is definitely nowhere near his NXT run. Truth be told, Adam Cole has become an afterthought. If there’s anyone who can reignite Adam Cole's career, it's Triple H.
