Some factions in the world of professional wrestling have achieved legendary status due to their run with the promotion and their contribution to the sport. WWE is currently focusing on creating and pushing new stables and groups across all three shows, where some have already become the face of their respective brands.

However, there are times when factions have failed to impress the fans and the management, which eventually leads to their demise with the promotion. - Members: Pat McAfee, Pete Dunne, Oney Lorcan, Ridge Holland, and Danny Burch
- Initial Run: October 2020 to September 2021
Kings of NXT was a short-lived stable as Pat McAfee created it for the sole purpose of going after Adam Cole and The Undisputed Era. After the two stars feuded on the developmental brand, McAfee started to recruit more members to the group.
The team consisted of Ridge Holland, Pete Dunne, Oney Lorcan, and Danny Burch, who feuded with The Undisputed Era after McAfee lost to Cole at TakeOver XXX. The stable feuded with The Undisputed Era for a while before Lorcan got injured and McAfee was moved to the main roster. In the end, the stable disappeared into oblivion after a short stint on the developmental brand.
9 Retribution's Reign Of Terror
Show: Monday Night RAW
- Members: Mustafa Ali, T-Bar, Mace, Slapjack, Reckoning, and Retaliation
- Initial Run: August 2020 to March 2021
Retribution was one of the worst groups that the company has produced over the past few years. The stable was born during the Pandemic Era when a group of masked rebels tarnished the Performance Center to strike fear into the locker room.
Later, it was revealed that Mustafa Ali was the mastermind behind the stable after working on Monday Night for months. The members finally tuned on Mustafa Ali at Fastlane 2021 before disbanding the group. Out of the primary members, Mia Yim and Dijak are the only two stars still employed with WWE.
8 The End Of Sanity
Show: SmackDown
- Members: Eric Young, Nikki Cross, Killian Dain, and Alexander Wolfe
- Initial Run: October 2016 to April 2019
Sanity was once one of the hottest acts on the developmental brand under Triple H's creative leadership. In 2016, the group started their journey as Eric Young led the stable. The stable initially acquired gold on the brand when they defeated The Authors of Pain to become the NXT Tag Team Champions.
Unfortunately, the group disappeared into oblivion after their disastrous run on WWE's main roster. The stable was initially set to rule the tag team division on SmackDown. Unfortunately, the faction lost its momentum when The Miz defeated them in a 3-on-1 handicap match. Later, they split up, and only Nikki Cross is currently signed with the promotion.
7 The Odd Alliance Of Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, And Paige
Show: Monday Night Raw
- Members: Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Paige
- Initial Run: July 2015 to January 2016
Team PCB was created during the Women's Revolution when Stephanie McMahon called Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and Sasha Banks to the main roster. The stable originally had a different name, but the management decided to use the first letter of the member's initials.
The stable lasted for months as Paige turned on Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair after The Queen became the Divas Champion. Meanwhile, Lynch stayed on Flair's side for a while before the champion turned heel and aligned with her father on Monday Night RAW.
6 Parent Television Council's Ripoff: Right To Censor
Show: RAW and SmackDown
- Members: Steven Richards, Bull Buchanan, The Goodfather, Val Venis, Ivory, and The Kat
- Initial Run: July 2000 to June 2001
Right To Censor was created to mock the Parents Television Council, which actively attacked the company's product during the late 90s. However, it became a fun gimmick for a while as veterans such as Good Father, Ivory, Steve Richards, and Val Venis were able to entertain the audience.
The stable was also filled with gold during their time on the roster. However, the management and fans ended up losing their interest in the stable, and they disbanded after The Undertaker defeated the group in a 4-on-1 handicap match, which ended their run.
5 The Strange Occurrence Of Social Outcasts
Show: RAW and SmackDown
- Members: Heath Slater, Adam Rose, Bo Dallas, and Curtis Axel
- Initial Run: January 2016 to July 2016
Social Outcasts was another failed stable that Heath Slater was a part of during his time with WWE. The group was created on Monday Night RAW out of nowhere and the members of the newly formed stable had one of the strangest reasons to band together with an off-beat agenda.
The group was often jobbed to other superstars heading into WrestleMania 32. The management eventually decided to pull the plug after Adam Rose was released from the promotion. Currently, no member of the stable is employed under the promotion after the group disappeared into oblivion.
4 The Spirit Squad Was Shipped Back To OVW

Unfortunately, the fans never went with the idea of male cheerleaders wrestling inside the squared circle. Eventually, they disappeared into oblivion after they lost a 3-on-5 handicap match against DX and Ric Flair. Later, DX sent them packing to OVW for further training. Currently, Kenny is the only member who's still working with the promotion as a producer.
3 The Failed League Of Nations
Show: RAW and SmackDown
- Members: Sheamus, Wade Barrett, Rusev, and Alberto Del Rio
- Initial Run: November 2015 to April 2016
Wade Barrett will be easily remembered for winning multiple Intercontinental Championships and featuring in several failed factions in WWE. The League of Nations was created with the idea of putting adversities in Roman Reign's journey to the top. The team of Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio, Wade Barrett, and Rusev was dominant as well.
Apart from holding the WWE and United States Championship, the stable did nothing more than go head-to-head against anyone who defied The Authority. After winning their bout at WrestleMania 32, the stable kicked Barrett out of the group. Later, every member walked out on each other during matches and a brawl led to the end of the stable.

- Members: CM Punk, Husky Harris, David Otunga, Michael McGillicutty, and Mason Ryan
- Initial Run: December 2010 to August 2011

The stable continued their feud with John Cena and Randy Orton for a while before it all came to an end. In 2011, the Summer of Punk kicked off, and the management decided to ignore the stable while they focused on The Second City Saint. By the end of August, the stable was disbanded as they completely vanished into oblivion after losing the WWE Tag Team Championships.
1 The Nexus-Ripoff: The Corre
Show: SmackDown
- Members: Wade Barrett, Ezekiel Jackson, Heath Slater, and Justin Gabriel
- Initial Run: January 2011 to June 2011
The Corre was a ripoff of The Nexus after CM Punk took over the stable and replaced Wade Barrett as their new leader. The Corre mostly performed on SmackDown and tried to replicate the same antics as the other stable did on Monday Night RAW.
The management gave the stable the WWE Tag Team Champion and Intercontinental Championship, but the stable was doomed from the beginning. The group competed at WrestleMania 27 and lost to a make-shift team in less than two minutes. A few months later, the stable broke up, and the members went their separate ways.
