SummerSlam might be a few months away still, but it is the next of the 'big four' premium live events and the excitement surrounding it is already beginning due to how strong the WWE product is right now. There will likely be many major twists and turns down the line, but there are certain big matches that could end up happening on that show.

WWE will be hoping to make the event as exciting as possible and there will be a stacked card to ensure that audiences are interested. There are a lot of big stars on the roster right now who are making a big impact, and considering everyone will want to be part of the show the creative team will be looking to start planting the seeds for who will be involved.
10 Seth Rollins Vs. Finn Balor
The World Heavyweight Championship will be in full swing by the time that SummerSlam rolls around, and Seth Rollins should be the man holding it. He has earned that right and could put on a great first reign to instantly establish it, with Finn Balor being someone that would create a great challenger at SummerSlam.
They have history at that event having competed for the Universal Championship on the show, and Balor's continued rise to the top with The Judgment Day would make him a top heel to slot in here for a great match.
9 The Judgment Day Vs. Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens
While Finn Balor is competing against Seth Rollins it would be good to see the pushes for Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio continue. They're both great workers and people who get huge levels of heat and that would make them perfect contenders for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships.

Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens deserve a lengthy run until that stage and while this could be the appropriate time to switch things up, this match itself would be a great watch.
8 Becky Lynch Vs. Trish Stratus
This match appears to be one that WWE is going to save for SummerSlam as there are plenty of twists and turns that can be made on the road to that. This would be a huge dream encounter to add to the event and it is something that fans have always wanted to see.
Considering the stage in her career that Trish Stratus is at, and the rumors that Becky Lynch's contract is coming up, WWE could lean into things and have a loser leaves the WWE match to create more drama.
7 Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler Vs. Katana Chance & Kayden Carter
Ronda Rousey should be fully healed by this event, and seeing her and Shayna Baszler claim the Women's Tag Team Championship wouldn't be a shock. They're a team that WWE is firmly invested in and hopefully, this will be the start of the company fleshing out that division.
To do that they should call up Katana Chance and Kayden Carter who have both been in NXT for too long. They're an established team and their high-flying style and underdog attitudes would be perfect to challenge the MMA stars.
6 Bianca Belair Vs. Charlotte Flair
Bianca Belair has been a dominant Raw Women's Champion, and keeping the gold on her until SummerSlam would only add to the prestige of her title run. However, there is one major talent that she is yet to collide against and that is Charlotte Flair, who is currently enjoying a break.
Seeing her return in time for this major match would be a huge plus to the card and would create a brilliant in-ring match to put on the show. It would be Belair's biggest test to date and could be a huge moment in her career, especially since their match would unquestionably be great.
5 The New Day Vs. Imperium
Big E's future in wrestling is still very much in the air, but there are rumors that Triple H is hoping to have him and Kofi Kingston back to compete against Imperium. WWE has done a great job of making Gunther a major threat, and having an exciting six-man tag team match would be a fun encounter to add to the show.

It's something different from the rest of the encounters that will likely be on the card, and because of how much star power is involved in both groups, this would certainly draw a lot of eyeballs. Plus, a six-man tag would help to protect Big E as he gets himself back to full sharpness.
4 Logan Paul Vs. Randy Orton
Logan Paul is sure to feature at SummerSlam as he is a major name that WWE brings in for the biggest shows now, and this should be no different. He has proven that he can work with the absolute best, and seeing him work against a returning Randy Orton would be exciting to see.
The Viper will hopefully be back in action by the time this event returns and he is likely to be met with a huge response. If WWE wants to heavily push his return, then throwing a heat magnet like Paul against him would tick that box.
3 Rhea Ripley Vs. Raquel Rodriguez
A powerhouse women's match between two of the hardest hitters in the women's roster is something that everyone could get behind and it would provide something fresh. These two women can put on a great match together, and Raquel Rodriguez certainly has the qualities to reach this level.
With the right build, she could easily be seen on the same level as Ripley and the standoff between them would bring out a great visual. Rhea Ripley is a huge star now in WWE and seeing that be used to bring up a new star would be a positive step.
2 Brock Lesnar vs. Edge
Two legendary figures from the world of wrestling colliding in a dream encounter is something that would get people talking. The star power alone would make this perfect to throw onto the marquee, and with Brock Lesnar's recent heel turn, it has opened the door for this to happen.

Having him want to try and end Edge's career would be one angle that could be taken, and considering both men are likely to be part of the card, why not get both of them on at once?
1 Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes
Roman Reigns is very likely to still be the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion by the time SummerSlam rolls around and because of that WWE will want a huge match for him. Many options could take that spot, but Cody Rhodes working his way back into it should be the storyline of the summer.
Whether it's via the Money in the Bank briefcase or something else, having the American Nightmare face Reigns in that moment would be the perfect main event. After being screwed at WrestleMania 39 it would be a great story for him to finally claim the big one here.
